Hunting , investigating and counting on Welly Wednesday in our Peace Garden whilst enjoying the Autumn sunshine.
After experiencing two mornings as an introduction to Class 1, the children have now completed two weeks of full time in school. We are delighted with how the children have settled into the class routines and their learning challenges. The children are enjoying their school dinners and being with the older children at lunch, collective worship and break times. On our first Welly Wednesday, the children experienced the outdoor gym equipment and showed determination when climbing on the apparatus and jumping between the tyres. This week we enjoyed finding plants in the Peace Garden. We are delighted with the 100% attendance at our parents meeting. Children and parents and carers are also contributing to their children’s education with the superb help and encouragement they are giving their children with reading at home and homework.
